M405 is a combination adjuvant containing M401 and a molecular adjuvant. Addition of molecular adjuvant will help to augment the cellular immune response and antibody response to antigens adsorbed to aluminum hydroxide. M405 is a milky suspension  and will form precipitate upon long-term storage. M404 is found to be safe and effective for several vaccines in mice, guinea pigs, and pigs. M405 has the same physical properties and applications of M401 adjuvant.

M405 is supplied at 5mg/ml and 10mg/ml.
